Dog Menu Items in Central Florida

Dogs deserve a summertime sweet treat too! Thanks to these long, hot days, Central Florida residents love taking their pups along when they eat at local breweries, cafes, and restaurants. You may have even noticed dog menu items — everything from a free Pup Cup to speciality dog treats or burgers. Here, we rounded up five nearby restaurants with dog menu items.

Five Local Restaurants with Dog Menu Items

Located in Maitland, this restaurant is known for their hand-crafted sandwiches and homemade soups. Given its name, it’s not surprising that they have a menu just for hounds! Don’t miss the House-Made Ice Cream Treat, featuring natural peanut butter, banana, and organic yogurt. All items for dogs are served on a frisbee, and a portion of the proceeds are donated to the local Humane Society.

At this dog-friendly brewpub in Orlando, Florida, your four-legged friend can join you on the patio. You’re sure to enjoy the menu of 40 craft beers and bar-and-grill grub, while your pup will appreciate the dog treats.

The patio at this casual, dog-friendly eatery, also located in Orlando, features fire pits, lounge areas, and live music on the weekends. The menu is filled with comfort food for both you and your pup. One recent reviewer raved, “My dog Fauci loved his beef burger from the Pup menu. Everyone was friendly, and Fauci made a new friend, a cute Lhaso Apso named Jewels.”

Shake Shack

This New York City burger restaurant began as a hot dog cart in the middle of Madison Square Park, so it had a lot of four-legged customers right from the start! Now, thanks to four locations in Central Florida (including three spots in Orlando and one restaurant in Winter Park), you can enjoy their famous burgers and crinkle-cut fries while your pup tries the Pooch-ini or Bag O’ Bones.

Local Coffee Shops

The Pup Cup is Starbuck’s version of the Puppuccino. Order one for your furry friend and watch their tail wag as they lap up an espresso-sized cup filled with whip cream and little dog cookies. The best part? It’s free!

Other nearby coffee shops, including Dunkin’ Donuts and Peet’s Coffee & Tea, also have a version of the Puppuccino. As long as you know what to order (whip cream in their smallest cup), you can ask for one at your favorite locally-owned store as well.

As a reminder, if your dog has a sensitive tummy or is prone to allergies, you may want to steer clear of new food and stick with their current diet.
