May the Lord Bless You. – Numbers 6:24-26
Bless You! The month of May is a great time to remember our blessings big and small. This year, parents will likely be as excited for the end of the school year as their children. Mothers of two-legged and four-legged “kids” will be celebrated on Mother’s Day. We will honor those who gave all for our freedom. Our celebrations might require a bit more creativity, but that will make them more memorable.
Be Kind to Animals AND National Pet Week (May 3-9)
By now, your pets have adjusted to the new normal as many of us are spending more time at home. They might even be happy to help you during a virtual meeting. Pets enrich our lives in many ways. The Urban Dog Group donates a portion of our proceeds to The Pet Alliance of Greater Orlando or the rescue charity of the client’s choice. Ask me how you can help make a positive impact in the life of an animal who needs your kindness and love.
National Animal Disaster Preparedness Day
We love our pets and want to keep them safe from any emergency, but that takes planning. Make sure your pets are microchipped or have a collar ID. Many places are offering microchipping specials this month since it’s National Chip Your Pet Month. Put a pet rescue decal on your door or window for first responders. Keep a current picture of your pets in case of separation. Keep a bag of emergency supplies in your carrier in case you need to evacuate. Tape your veterinarian’s info to the carrier, too.
Small Business Month
Small businesses and entrepreneurs make an impressive contribution to the economy. More than half of Americans either own or work for a small business. As your pet-friendly realtor, I am an independent contractor which makes me a small business. Your referrals and repeat business are greatly appreciated.
From everyone at The Urban Dog Real Estate Group, stay home, stay safe, and stay healthy.
