Dear Friend,
Spring is in the air! The official first day of Spring comes earlier this year than it has in a century, March 19th, and I am ready for it. It’s time to open the windows, put away those heavy winter clothes, head outdoors, start that garden (again), and take your pup for an extra-long walk and/or picnic. Spring Break is a time when you might need to get a pet sitter. See below for some great tips. Let’s not forget the traditional Spring Cleaning; your home with thank you.
“May your home always be too small to hold all your friends.” - Irish Proverb
Professional Pet Sitter’s Week (March 1-7)
There comes a time for most pet parents when we need someone to watch our fur babies. Whether going on vacation or looking for doggie daycare, these tips can help get the right match. They should be experienced, insured, and trustworthy. If your pet has special needs, check to see if the sitter is up to the task. See how they interact one-on-one, noting your pet’s reaction. Like a good babysitter, a good pet sitter is priceless. “The love of a dog is a pure thing. He gives you a trust which is total. You must not betray it.” ~ Michel Houellebecq
Daylight Savings Begins (Mar. 8)
It’s time to SPRING AHEAD! Set your clocks ahead an hour before going to bed on Saturday. It’s also the day to check your batteries in your smoke detectors, carbon monoxide detectors, radon detectors, and other electronics. It could save your home or life. Remember the ABC’s of safety; Always Be Careful. “Safety isn’t expensive, it’s priceless.” ~Author Unknown
Saint Patrick’s Day (Mar. 17)
This time of year, you’ll hear a wee bit about the luck of the Irish. Thankfully, everyone can be Irish on St. Patrick’s Day. Wear a bit o’ the green, toast to your friends and loved ones, and dance a little jig. Your referrals make us feel lucky on St. Patrick’s Day and all year. We’re doing our part to help increase your luck by sending scratch-off tickets and would love to know if any of you were lucky winners! “Wherever you go and whatever you do, May the luck of the Irish be there with you.” ~Irish Blessing
Sincerely,
Christine
