January 2020

May He give you the desire of your heart and make all your plans succeed. Psalm 20:4

Dear Friend,

It’s 2020 and we are starting both a new year and a new decade. Since 20/20 is also an indication of perfect vision, I wish for you the clarity of vision to make your hopes and dreams a reality this year. Make your vision so clear that your fears become irrelevant.

As always, if I can be of assistance in making your dreams of a new home turn into a reality, it is my pleasure to help you find that perfect place to call home.

Make Your Dream Come True Day (Jan. 13)

We all have dreams but until you set a plan, that dream will just stay in your head. To turn that dream into reality will take some work so start today! Make a plan and be specific; write it down. Get passionate about your dream and set achievable goals. Review your progress and adjust where necessary. Use mistakes as valuable lessons rather than stumbling blocks. Finally, enjoy the process as much as the desired end-result. “Go confidently in the direction of your dreams! Live the life you’ve imagined.” ~Henry David Thoreau.

Speak Up and Succeed Day (Jan. 28)

I remember standing at the edge of a swimming pool for days as a child, drumming up the nerve to finally dive into the water headfirst. When it comes to success, fear can hold you back and keep you from reaching your potential. Most of us can think back on a time when we could have surged forward into an achievement, but we let fear override our moment. Once I finally made that first dive, I couldn’t understand what I was so afraid of nor could I stop diving but I had to talk to myself and face that fear head-on. Today, talk to whatever it is that is holding you back. Whether you feel inadequate, worry about losing control, are concerned about being judged or rejected, or simply fear failure, SPEAK UP and tell your fear that it will no longer control you. Combat your fear with confidence and dive into your success! "The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but he who conquers that fear." ~Nelson Mandela

Sincerely,

Christine
